"Take Notes"

September 13th, 2010: J.J. Miller
I’m pleased to say I have worked with Boston’s most prestigious photographer, J.J. MILLER. J.J. is one of the fresh faces in Boston’s creative industry. His obvious talent, work ethic, and willingness to take on all challenges definitely make him a figure to watch, be it in Boston, across the nation, or wherever the camera takes him next. Other photographers - take notes. I suggest anyone who is serious about professional photos consider J.J. when choosing Check out some of the work we have done together below...

"I love taking photographs and the way a single image can capture the world's beauty while conveying a message more powerful than words." - J.J. Miller

This stuff is dope! I received a package of T-shirts this week from Jeepney Clothing and I am hooked. They got really cool original designs and I'm hoping to build a bigger relationship with their company in the future, but for now I'll just be happy with my free Tees.

August 9th, 2010: Jordan DJ Backpack

That's right folks, Michael Jordan has released a specific bag geared toward DJ's! I gotta get one of these as soon as possible, there's plenty of DJ friendly compartments to store everything from your vinyl to laptop. The Jordan DJ Backpack can be found here.
August 2nd, 2010: The Improper Bostonian
This week's pick of the week is Boston's best magazine, The Improper Bostonian. It's the number one directory guide for Boston nightlife and dining. From upscale hot spots to down 'n' dirty dive bars; it covers all the bases. The Improper can help anyone, whether you are a local or a foreign exchange student, they have the 411 on what's hot and what's not. This magazine emphasizes the key reasons why WE LOVE THAT DIRTY WATER!

V-Moda headphones are hands down the most fashionable headphones out right now. I came across them while DJ'ing with "DJ SCENE" @ The Boiler Room. I was fixed.. The sound is incredible, they're extremely comfortable and they're actually made to last..I'm hooked. DJ's I recommend you check them out at http://www.v-moda.com/headphones/crossfade.aspx ****************************************************************************************************************************************************
July 19th, 2010: Code Blue
Code Blue is an energy recovery drink that you drink at the end of a long night of boozing it up in order not to feel the effects the next day. I tried Code Blue for the second time last week, only this time it wasn't because I was thirsty. Instead, I spent a long night on the town celebrating the fact that it was a Saturday and I didn't have to DJ, which is a great reason to go out and "celebrate." This stuff really works; the next day I jumped out of bed without a hangover! It's all natural and tastes really good too. This is a must have especially for all my Bostonian booze bags out there! ****************************************************************************************************************************************************July 12th, 2010: Orchard Skateshop

See more pictures of Orchard here.
Until yesterday, in my opinion, the only good shop for gear in the Allston/Brighton area was AWOL. Then I discovered Boston's newest hidden secret, Orchard Skateshop. I stumbled upon this place when I was going to pick up my DJ check from Wonder Bar and am glad I did! They have the largest selection of Tees I've ever seen around town and a really sick sneaker collection. In terms of brands, they have tons of different selections including my favorite, HUF. There's an indoor skatepark built into the store, so you can buy some new gear while watching kids face plant on their skate ramp! The 2nd floor plays host to an art gallery, so all in all Orchard is a pretty sweet deal!
Orchard Skateshop is located at 156 Harvard Ave, Boston, MA. [Map]
